Feb break to Krakow

Pros: Central location, beautiful building, excellent service and amazing spa and massage treatments

Cons: Bed position, couldn't get all way around, had to climb over one side to get in as no room at the bottom of the bed due to steps to bathroom.

Overall happy

Pros: We didn’t have the breakfast as it was very overpriced as for a breakfast

Cons: The armchairs in our room were very low and not really comfortable

Pros: Everything! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay excellent. We’ve been there a day before our wedding and we were really stressed and tired. They made sure that everything was perfect and on time. We even got a bottle of champagne and chocolate truffles to celebrate our marriage which was extremely nice of them!:) They made a booking in a restaurant for us and the chef not only accommodated our diet (vegetarian) but also create a whole new menu with Michelin level dishes (and we’re both chefs that work in this environment) the waiters were really attentive as well and professional. Now every time when we’ll be in need of a hotel in Krakow we will go to this one.

Lovely hotel but avoid if sensitive to noise

Beautiful hotel, but devil’s in the details

Pros: - fantastic location, right next to the Wawel Castle - a beautifully renovated old townhouse - feels very special to stay there especially if you appreciate historic hotels! - I was able go early check-in which was a very welcome gesture after a long flight- much appreciated! - I requested a change of bathrobe and it was addressed immediately - most staff kind and courteous - spa/pool facilities are lovely. Beautiful touches with the candles and what not. - toiletries in the room are very good quality - linens were very comfy, felt very crisp and squeaky clean - gorgeous wooden furniture (closet, bed, desk, etc) - generally a cozy feel, with a gorgeous patio, some nice plants, beautiful glass ceiling

Cons: devil’s in the details - compared to other 5* hotels of similar value (and other R&C hotels), Copernicus was underwhelming with regards to several aspects: - no turndown service - no creamer for milk in the room; you need to call the restaurant to ask for milk for your coffee. On the day of my check-in I waited about 30mins (needed to call again to follow up), and the restaurant staff on the phone wasn’t courteous. Tho, next day I requested milk at the reception and it was delivered very rapidly. To create a 5* hassle-free experience there should be powdered creamer in the room with the possibility of ordering fresh milk from the restaurant if one wishes to. - much of the interior was outdated (shower, rugs, lamps, paint job, etc) - walls are very thin; noise from the corridor and rooms next door were quite loud and bothersome - most kits are available only upon request

Pros: The hotel has a great mix of old-world style with elegant, modern touches — it feels special, intimate, but really comfortable and welcoming. The staff were friendly, professional, and super helpful. The pool, sauna and spa area were excellent, and my mum really enjoyed her massage - visited a few times; so relaxing after a day of exploring! The terrace view was amazing, and the bed was so comfortable — best sleep I’ve had in a while. I also loved the quality and scent of the bathroom products. The location couldn’t be better, just a short walk to Wawel and the Old Town. Everything was spot on, and we’ll definitely be back.

Cons: n/a

Lovely hotel with exceptional service in the old town, easy access to all the sites and river

Pros: Excellent location, right in the old town. Very nice staff who were accomodating and a fabulous restaurant. We ate a great meal (chef's 5 course menu) and had a lovely young woman as our waitress, which really made our stay special. The hotel is pet friendly which is always a big bonus for us and there is a nice little park close by to walk the dogs. It was also very nice to go for a run along the waterfront which is a 5-minute walk.

Cons: The room was very dark due to the lack of outside light (windows faced onto the inside of the hotel) and heavy furnishings. No electric car charging so we had to park at the public lot.
