Clean, quiet and comfortable. Good value.

Pros: The property was very clean. It is an older/traditional property and there are some things that could use some updating but it was spotlessly clean. The location was also fantastic, 3 minutes walk to the main square but despite that the rooms were nice and quiet. The windows kept the noise out well. Staff were also very helpful and kind. We also found the beds to be very comfortable and got a really good sleep all 3 nights. Breakfast was a bit limited but it was perfectly adequate especially considering it was included.

Cons: Tea and coffee offering in the orangery was a little limited/not the best machine but it did the job. Would bring your own hairdryer if you have long hair as these are very dated and you will be there some time.

All in really enjoyed our stay at the Wawel hotel, for a 3 star hotel I was really impressed and staff were helpful and

Pros: Fanatics location within walking distance to the square, castle and next to one of our favourite restaurants the Black Duck

Cons: The only thing that it lack was perhaps a bar

Fantastic Hotel - Great Location

Pros: The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean. We loved visiting the Orangery for a little hot drink to wrap our hands round when we went to sit in the outdoor area (which was also very pretty and private). The staff are very friendly and helpful, always able to offer advise and personal recommendations - which, again, were so on point! I liked that I was given the WiFi details as well as some tourist info when I was checking in, no issues at all with connection either which is always a bonus. The location was perfect.. less than 5 minute walk to the main square, like, literally out the door and turn the corner and you're there. But, still, a very quiet and private street. I would highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be back. The only pic I have is of the private courtyard, where we spent a lot of our downtime.

Cons: Nothing. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Perfectly situated to explore the delights of Krakow Old Town!

Pros: I recently stayed at Hotel Wawel in Krakow from 2nd to 5th October and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The hotel is conveniently situated right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore both the Old Town and other attractions on foot. My room was comfortable, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped, providing a welcoming retreat after a day of sightseeing. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always on hand with advice and recommendations for local restaurants and activities. Breakfast offered a good selection of fresh options to start the day, and I particularly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere throughout the hotel. Overall, I would highly recommend Hotel Wawel to anyone visiting Krakow who is seeking a central location, excellent service, and a comfortable stay.

Amazing location, incredibly comfortable, and very helpful staff.

Pros: Amazing location, 24 hour check in, very helpful staff, clean, warm and comfortable room, delicious breakfast, plus a 24 hour coffee/hot chocolate machine available! We had an amazing time and would recommend anyone to stay here.

Cons: Nothing. It was all great.

Pros: The hotel is in a great location, no more than 5 mins walk from both the Castle and Market Square. The hotel itself is great with the rooms being very clean and comfortable. One surprise was discovering a fridge in the desk. Which was odd as no tea/coffee making facilities in the room itself. However you can get tea/coffee 24/7 from the orangery on the first floor and drink it there which in fairness was very pleasant. Special mention has to go to the shower which was fantastic.

Cons: Breakfast, although plentiful and fresh, the choice was limited. Only 2 hot items of scrambled eggs and frankfurter sausages, cold items were more varied however. Otherwise hotel can not be faulted.
