A stylish well located boutique hotel

Pros: This is a lovely boutique hotel with a great atmosphere within walking distance of most of the main sights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well-equipped and very quiet. The bed was large and comfortable. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Cons: The room was very compact - made worse by having floor-length curtains which cut off the alcove space and made it very tight to get around the side of the bed. Shorter window length curtains would have added an extra 30cm to the side of the bed. We ended up lifting the curtains up to rest on the large window shelf to make the room more user-friendly. The room would also benefit from having bedside tables with drawers to store small items. There was no outside view from our window just an internal roof, but this did mean our room was quiet

Cons: Room was a little small but manageable for 5 night stay.

Pros: Really lovely, welcoming staff members, nice, clean room with a very comfortable bed and pillows, a bath and a separate shower. Great breakfast although less choice for vegetarians and vegans, but I noticed that the room service menu had several vegetarian and vegan options.

Pros: The lovely young staff were very quite delightful: helpful in every way.

Cons: The window blinds in the loft room were extremely difficult to work out. Even the staff didn't seem to know...

Pros: Staff very friendly nice breakfast and a good location out of the town centre but near enough!

Cons: Not much the bed lights old have done with propert bulbs as you could read by them decorative but useless as lamps

Would highly recommend this hotel. All the staff were friendly and very knowledgeable.

Pros: Restaurant Filipa 18 was so good we ate there 2 out of 3 nights we stayed. We noticed that over half the people dinning were non residents which speaks volumes. The breakfast was also very good.
