Hotel Alef

Pros: Great location, I liked a lot of pictures on the wall, interesting design. It was good value for money.

Great stay close to the centre with excellent staff.

Pros: Really good breakfast with cold, meats , cheese , yoghurt , scrambled eggs etc..

Krakau is a great city, hotel Alef is located in the center, staff friendly and competent.

Pros: We did not order breakfast. Very central hotel, most places and attractions reachable in walk distance. Nice and friendly staff, ordered taxi and explained every thing.

Great and Cheap

Pros: Cleanliness was good, room was sufficient for a solo traveller and the rooms are secure (keys instead of key cards and an internal lock). Amenities were provided in the room including shower gel, towels, a shower cap, sanitary pad bags, and of course toilet rolls and soap bars. The staff were direct but nice to speak to for what little I did - the cleaner was especially friendly.

Cons: At first I didn't like the room based on first impressions but having slept in the room after day 1 it grew on me and I liked it. No major criticisms.

Wow. It's wonderful!

Pros: The great location near Wawel castle. The interior is like a time machine or as a portal to the world of art. Driendly staff and normal room

Pros: Nice and quiet hotel. Close by main square and wawel castle 10 minutes walk. Lots of resturants near by.

Pros: The location is good near all the best bars and restaurants, but the main square is only a short walk away. My room was simple but had what I needed.

One night in krakow

Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean, my room was small as it was a single and had a single bed, if I went back I would book a double bed, but it was comfortable. There was no airconditioning but a fan is supplied. I paid for breakfast and what they served could have fed four people, lots of deli meat cheese, bread, cereal, yoghurt, plus eggs and sausages. Fantastic value for money. If you came out the hotel and turned right cross the main road -5 mins away we're bars and restaurants, very lively and I felt safe out alone. The street the hotel is on looks a bit shady, but it was actually very quiet. Would recommend the hotel, it's in the Jewish quarter so about 30 min walk to old town.

Cons: The shower head leaked, the key was hard to use, as it's sunk into the wood and it was hard to see where to put it.

Pros: Good location, close to tram stop, 24 hr supermarket and a short walk to the old town. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons: Lack of blackout curtains, water pressure in shower wasn’t very good and the shower head didn’t stay up so it was difficult to wash hair.
