Excellent staff and location, great breakfast, spotlessly clean.

Pros: All staff were excellent - very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast had a good selection and was plentiful. Lots of room in the breakfast areas. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. Easy walking distance to the main square with shops and bars / restaurants aplenty on the street. Very close to tram stop for travel further afield in the town. Great value for money.

Cons: We could hear noise from the adjacent room but this may be due to the layout and age of the building. One of the rooms was quite small, however this wasn’t a negative as it is reflected in the room listings - pick a bigger room if you prefer.

Pros: Hotel receptionist was very helpful and we found that the room was warm and comfortable with a good breakfast

Cons: The shower was a little small especially if you were a larger person.otherwise it was fine

Pros: Very good hotel. We stayed there before. Verey good location, walking distance to the city centre. Very good restaurant on the other side of the street - Piwnice Pałacu Pokutyńskich; much better than in closer to Rynek. Very clean and quiet. Good breakfast. Helpful staff

Pros: Nice 10 minute walk to the old town. Tram & bus stop outside as well. Food options all around.

Comfort in the heart of the city for a perfect city break

Pros: A hotel for which I have only good words. - it is close to the center and tourist attractions, in an area not very crowded - it is clean - the rooms are spacious - the staff is kind, polite, always with a smile on their faces. We had a small problem with the shower drain. Everything was resolved promptly and the stay was perfect. Every day, the room is cleaned and the towels are changed. The breakfast is rich, fresh, varied and very tasty. The quality of the coffee is not great, but this aspect did not bother us too much. We only stayed 4 nights at this hotel, but if we will return to Krakow, we will definitely stay at Hotel Maksymilian again.

Pros: The location was excellent for exploring the town and around the area. Breakfast was fantastic with lots to choose from and well presented. Rooms were comfy and spacious.

A warm friendly stay in a very interesting town with thought provoking historical visits.

Pros: The hotel was perfectly located. It was very clean, new towels everyday. A very spacious, well equipped bedroom. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, especially emails before we arrived arranging taxis and a trip. The breakfast was delicious and there was a super selection of food to choose from.

Cons: We can’t think of anything that we didn’t like.

Welcoming and well-located

Pros: During our brief stay in Krakow, coming back to our hotel was like coming home – the staff were very helpful and kind, the breakfast was ample and delicious, and everything felt available and at arm's reach. Perfect location!

Cons: Barely anything to ask for, really; if for one small suggestion – to have a little coffee table in the room for us to sit around and enjoy our evening snacks. However, we managed just fine without!

Cons: Did not like the Breakfast. No Eggs when we came down Not enough sitting room to eat your breakfast. The way it was laid out did not make sense or run well
