One of the most unusual hotels we’ve ever stayed in.

Pros: It’s hard to explain what this properties like it’s in an excellent location in the old town. It has to feel of a 1940s building. I don’t think it’s been designed this way. I think it’s how it is. It’s full of books everywhere. Just no actual reception you just turn up and you’re pointed at your room

Cons: I think somebody could’ve introduced themselves when we arrived. We never met anyone that said they ran or managed the hotel. And we could’ve done with more heating in the room. It’s a massive building so they do struggle to keep their bedrooms warm I think.

It was good, but It’s overpriced for what you get.

Pros: The size of the room is great and being in such a historical building is lovely.

Cons: The room had an unpleasant smell and the breakfast wasn’t very good. In think that It’s overpriced for what you get.

Pros: Beautiful place, very atmospheric and peaceful. Friendly and helpful staff. Great food. We liked everything about it. And would happily come back.

Pros: The breakfast was terrific, as was the room, with a huge sitting area and a separate bedroom. The decor was lovely, and I loved the fact that there were so many books around. I would like to know the history of the klezmer hois, and what they do with all the books.

Cons: I would have liked help to take my suitcase up to my room. It was taken the first evening, but then I didn't see any staff to ask for help.

Fascinating period jewel of a place

Pros: Set in a publishing house - this small hotel is a dream to stay in. Our room was large and beautifully decorated and appointed. The staff super-friendly, the location central for all Jewish life in the City, food gorgeous and music a bonus

A fantastic 4-night stay

Pros: We had an amazing stay at this beautiful accommodation in the Jewish Quarter. Location was excellent. Rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were responsive and breakfast was so plentiful. The atmosphere really transports you to a feeling of authenticity with the decor and music. We would not hesitate to go back. Great value for money.

Pros: Look and feel. Real 1930s atmosphere.Really friendly staff and excellent location.

Cons: Private toilet/shower but outside the room. If you have to go in the night - a little uncomfortable. It was, however, straight across the hallway.

Pros: A comfortable and quirky hotel with a very good restaurant. Situated in the old Jewish area to which a vibrant Jewish presence has safely returned. There are great restaurants in the square where the hotel is situated. It's only a short tram ride away from the old town and is also close to the castle. Interesting museums and synagogues nearby and just across the river is Schindler's factory. A great place to stay in Krakow that is quieter than the old town and less bustling with tourists.
