Zakątek Apartments

Great price for this location.

Pros: The location is great, a supermarket, a gas station and a tram stop just a stone throw away. Beautiful views in Zakrzowek Park, also within 5-10 minutes walk. We could reach Kazimierz in about 20 minutes by tram. The place looks nice, all you need is in the kitchen. We could control the central heating and an a/c to keep ourselves warm even when it was pretty cold outside.

Cons: The a/c is pretty loud after it’s turned off while it cools down. Also we couldn’t sleep properly for a few nights because there was something (maybe mice or who knows what) running on the roof. It made quite some noise, was quite unsettling even for us adults.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at the property – comfortable, clean, and well-located:)

Pros: The apartment was spacious, well-equipped, and very clean. The location is excellent – easy to find, close to a park, public transport, and a large supermarket. It was comfortable to stay here, and I would be happy to come back again)

Cons: It can be a bit noisy in the bedroom when the balcony door is open, since the windows face the main road. A few times there were some scratching sounds from the ceiling, which was a little unsettling at night.

Pros: During the selection process, it was important for us to have public transportation nearby that would allow us to easily get into the city since we arrived in Krakow by car from Hungary. The apartment is clean, well-equipped, and cozy. All technical devices worked perfectly (air conditioning, refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, toaster). We left satisfied and would gladly return anytime!

Cons: The trams are a bit noisy in the morning hours, fortunately, this can easily be remedied by closing the terrace door. Only the window facing the beds caused a problem, as quite a lot of light filtered in.

Pros: Great location. Privat parking. Public transport is close - easy to reach the old town by tram (family weekend tickets is a very cheap option!). Markets are close.

Cons: Too small towels. 😄

Perfect for families or friends

Pros: It was close to my target location in the town. The parking included in the price is a huge positive in Krakow. Everyday shopping is minutes away. Good, frequent and timely access to public transport (historical down town is only 15-20 minutes). And Park Zakrzówek is only 5 minutes walk. The apartment is clean and we'll equipped. Read: one can cook, do the laundry just like home. The owners reacted immediately to call, were always helpful, and spoke English. We are returning guests, and will remain so, I believe.

Cons: If one is new to Krakow, the exact route to the apartment is somewhat difficult to find (even local Bolt/Uber drivers had issues. Read the owners' instructions, do not rely only on your navigation app.) We stayed for several nights, and it required a bit of looking around the find the waste containers - their location may also be useful to be communicated to longer-stay guests (perhaps together with instructions how to collect the garbage selectively, as it is a little bit different in Poland).

Pros: Pretty and cozy place, super clean and right next to the tram station where at least three different lines connect you with the heart of the city. The host was very kind to let us change our dates since our initial trip got cancelled and let us have an hour late check-out. Thank you!!

Pros: Very great, stylish and cozy apartment, huge plus is the private parking, the tram stop is a few min from home and takes you to old town in 16 min. Near the apartment is a beautiful lake, very very nice to relax, walking for 5 min. Very friendly host 🌸 Coffee, tea, a washing mashine for clothes, with a washing capsule! Cons: It was a bit tiny, and the duvet for the sofa was too small, we could not fit it on the edges of the sofa, but not a big minus

Pros: Great apartments! The host was super friendly and very helpful. I recommend staying there. The lake near by is beautiful for a summer dive! mind the queue when going there :)

Cons: If you are traveling with a family bigger than 4 I recommend booking 2 rooms! For us, 1 room was too small (we were 5)

Pros: Overall it was clean and the beds were comfy. Easy acces to the tram stop.

Cons: Unfortunately, the air conditioner made a randomly noise after few minutes of working. The owner should fix this. Noisy street during morning/evening.

Pros: A bit far from the city center (and its mess), but extremely easy to get there (tram stop at 30 m from the property, which a line taking you directly to the train station). Very clean, nice kitchen with all one may need, big bathroom, comfortable shower, nice space overall.

Cons: There is real table for meals (only a short table in front of the couch), but this is no big problem.
