Feel The Old Socialist Style Apartment

A unique experience for people who appreciate local culture and history

Pros: The amazing decor and history, the brilliant advice and recommendations from the host and the overall vibe of the place. Really clean, warm and welcoming :)

Pros: very cosy and pretty interior, extremely welcoming host and a nice localisation (perfect for the winter time)

Pros: Quaint and a unique apartment that showed off that older style beautifully. It was cosy and comfortable and just what we wanted. The apartment was a 5 minute walk from the tram which took us directly into Krakow City Centre, making travel really easy. The host was great at communicating right from booking and sent really detailed instructions, information, advice and suggestions of what to do and where to go.

Cons: This does not claim to be a high-end luxury apartment and the main living room has sofa beds. The kitchen is basic and the bathroom is small, but that's it's charm - a sense of living in post-war Poland just for a little while.

Nice place

Pros: The place is really nice and well equipped, really good location well connected to public transportation.

Cons: Some bed sheets didn't smell clean, probably storaged for a long time, but not a big issue because there were too many.

Great host! Good stay for this price

Pros: The flat was immaculate. There was enough space and good internet. A lot of fancy old-fashioned stuff over there but that was almost in good condition.

Cons: There were enough towels, blankets and pillowcases but there were no bedsheets as I remember

Cool place but not close to Krakow center for those who want that.

Pros: Enjoyed it. Close to trams and buses. I liked the area (Nowa Huta, an old socialist built part that's now part of Krakow) but it's not be for everyone since it's far from the old town and Krakow center so you need local transport. The apartment had a good vibe but also, not for everyone I guess :) But if you like something different it's cool.

Cons: It was slightly hard to find since google maps showed another location and when we asked some locals even they had trouble finding it.

Interesting stay

Pros: Stepping back in time, interesting stay. The beds are pull out sofas so you sleep in living room or kitchen. . Located near tram stop. The owner has put a great deal of thought into the apartment.

A true homey feel!

Pros: great for a tourists who would love to be in a typical old socialist home and is looking for a quiet spot with a homey feel It included everything we could have possibly needed! The owner was really nice and helpfull in his explanations about everything. very quick check in instructions and would reply to any questions i had very fast! Thank you for your hospitality 🙏

Short stay

Pros: It was just like going back in time to visit my grandma, very sentimental. The apartment has everything one needs, it's cosy and clean. The host is friendly and welcoming.

Cons: Parking was a bit tricky but it worked out fine.
